Today is the 10th of December so we 'only' have 10 more tax loss selling days for this year. How low can she go i.e. the Cdn markets. And the maybe a little come back early in 2015 before the US market gets kicked and the Cdn market will follow it down you can be sure. And they call it 'investing' your money as opposed to stuffing it in the mattress.

You know what's crazy? the debs market cap is currently $431,250. That won't even get you a cardboard box in the 'burbs in Calgary!!!

Yup and now the enterprise value is down to 420 million.  That's less than what it cost to build McKay alone.

guys, what is our realistic HOPE here...? If the company is going under and there is nothing that's going to be left for shareholders, why haven't we sold yet ? Even a thousand or two left from our initial investment is better then nothing... so what are we hoping for here? Let's not kid ourselves here, I believe everyone commenting on this bullboard is still to some extent invested in ...more

Hahaha I remeber this product. Years ago, one of my buddies started balding at a very young age. His self-confidence wasn't what it once was because of it, so he decided to do something about it. He bought Ron Popeil's GLH. It looked great, or so he thought. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I thought that he was far-sighted. Anyhow, with his newfound swagger in tow, we went ...more

In all seriousness, bambus, a penny is a penny is a penny. At half a cent or one, it comes down to the same end game. Failure on the part of the company and shareholders losing their shirts. Why do we still see bids at one cent and not a half? It COULD be that those who shorted the stock are looking to buy at a penny to maximize their gains. Over time they'll get wat they are looking for ...more

@bambus: Alot of us have already sold. STP is an interesting beast to study and quite possibly the worst oilsands stock ever to grace the TSX. By far worse than CLL. Plus, this is one of the more amusing bullboards on Stockhouse. Lenny, where are you? We need your wisdom!
