This price looks too cheap. SND is like a bank. If the customer does not pay, SND gets the property and the customer loses everything. SND can then resell the property when the markets improve. This might be dead money till the markets improve but I bought some more today anyways.

Forgive my ignorance but, what are the legal costs relative to the streams folding? Are they substantial enough to weigh into the equation?

Its a good question spacecat. I have no idea. I would imagine that when Royal Coal threw in the towel there was not a lot of lawyers lurking because Royal Coal had no money.There has to be some cost to keeping the mine under care and maintenance and I do not know who is paying that right now. The way I look at it SND got a lot of their money at 55c so I can buy at 27.5 c and still do well even if ...more

Thanks Kewl2, One of the reasons I bought more recently was because the energy commodities seemed to be turning up. Lets hope Nat gas gets above $4 and becomes comfortably viable. Bob
