Just Trying To Learn from Your Experiences

Hi Folks:

My typical investment over the years have been generally blue chip, mid to large cap companies that pay a dividend.  Until investing in SND, I have had no prior experience with very young companies.  Looking at Sandstorm Gold, the growth has been very good in such a short time.  SND seems to be on a slower trajectory.  For those who owned SSL in its infancy or owned other junior miners/streamers, is it the nature of what is being mined/streamed that determines the growth trajectory?

I always was under the impression that gold and base metals were always a good buy in inflationary, central bank money printing environments.  Certainly when the US fed announced QE3, gold and metals really took off.  They seemed to have been flat for the past few months.  Is this industry news driven?  I don't see any issues with the SND company fundamentals and it is the same management team as SSL, but I am trying to understand the slower trajectory.  Is it because of the less than stellar deals with TER, NDX, etc., or is this the nature of the base metals business?

Would be interested in any of your thoughts on this and would welcome  your experiences and insight.  Thanks.

"Is it because of the less than stellar deals with TER, NDX, etc.,"   Bingo!  Ding Ding Ding!       It also doesn't help that the deals that are working out are still not providing all too much cashflow... yet!   Nolan has stated publicly that he thinks SND can and will likely be a larger markte cap Company than SSL... down the road... To make good money ...more

Also doesn't help that NG has been in the sh*tt_r and that's not helping the TBD deal.  I believe that the market has already discounted this inthe share price of SND, so we basiclaly have a free option on any recovery in NG over the next few years which will help out TBD and in turn us as well.
