What is Sandstorm Entitled To ?

Is Sandstorm entitled to 3% of everything the mine has produced so far this year or is it only entitled to 3% of what the mine produced since Donner forfeited....

Thundersole; You ask a very good question. Mind you the answer, while material, is not a company maker or breaker. But ... a very good question whih should have been made clear in press releaases. Internal people may have thought that it was obvious and maybe it is for insiders but I sure have no idea Mat

Mat, I agree that this will become meaningless longterm, but details like this bug me, and sometimes I think I missed something, hence my query. Cash is important in the near term, and more is always better.  Maybe more info will be coming....

Haven't they said that there will be a CC before the end of september or did I miss something? Regarding the 3% NSR, I think tis from the day on when they "converted" the stream. Just my thoughts. DYODD. carinthian

Carthinian, I don't think that we can assume anything.   I think that new terms were negotiated at the time of Donners default.  I was not expecting Sandstorm to turn over to Glencore all it's Donner shares and warrants.  I was not expecting sandstorm to issue $2,000,000 in SND shares.... Can't wait for a conference call......

Sorry if my "assume" was misleading, maybe guess would have been the better expression. I fully agree, the CC hopefully will get light in my darkness. :-) carinthian

SND is entitled to 2.4% of the 3% NSR (with 0.6% NSR going to SSL) on ALL metals mined - ore mined starting September 3, 2013 (when the agreement was signed). The 2.4% NSR works out to around $3.6 million per year (total 3% NSR expected to return around $4.5 million) as per current commodity prices.  So SND share = $3.6 million per year and  SSL share = ~$1 million per year GLTA

Thanks for the info on the CC and the numbers. So with the NSR from Xstrata their administrative expenses (which I see with 1,5mio for 01/13-06/13 in their 2nd quarter report) should be covered. 250k flow in from the Anterra convertible note. Around 2,9 mio. worth is held in equipment for sale - question if this is really worth 2,9mio and why does it take so long to sell this stuff? Cash at the ...more
