Are you serious CASHISPLAY, that is one of your investment maxims, to assume a company is overvalued just because it reaches an all time high, regardless of the technicals or fundamentals.  That’s an interesting concept...good luck with that!!!  From my experience, some of the most profitable moves have come as new highs were reached.  Maybe you’d like to enlighten the board by ...more

I have no confidence in people who post how many shares they have, their dollar figures, there astute timing bouncing in and out. Cashisplay, if you have a way of proving your transactions do it, if you don't get lost.

"You clowns are trying to predict the future."  Really CASHISPLAY, that sounds a wee bit hypicritical coming from you.  I can care less about your 200% swing trades.  I've got shares of SVL that I acquired at .30 cents...sitting on 600% gain...BIG DEAL!!!  In both cases, who gives a *bleep*.  That doesn't mean squat about future results.  The ...more

I'm not saying I haven't lost money on the ventures, but what I am saying is i don't stay with a stock after making a big profit. How many of you have made money on a stock and then decided to stay in there for the next news release. It happened to me 6years ago. What you learn fast is even though you read the bad news your not able to sell your stock fast enough to reduce your loss.I mean ...more

I understand what you're saying and if this method works for you, that's great.  I've just had limited success making large profits that way, especially in the small cap mining sector.  Maybe it's just me and my personal temperment but day trading and mining stocks just don't mix...it's a recipe for total disaster as far as I'm concerned.  I know others ...more

Cashinplay, share prices go up share prices go down, no one here needs a lecture on your new found theory to understand that.

Telling the future is exactly what we're trying to do here. We research stocks and buy them based on their undervaluation. The efficient market theory - that the market always is posting correct value for stocks- is malarky, and there are always plenty of opportunities to make money. SVL was a good deal at $1.60, and its a good deal at $2.30. There are very few silver ...more
