Is there any reason to raise an eyebrow over the potential tungsten there to be found or is likely just to be a small contributor to $ flow?

Regarding your tungsten question, I would say yes, there is ample reason to "raise an eyebrow".  I actually wanted to bring this subject up a couple weeks ago but decided against it.  I'm naive when it comes to Tungsten but something tells me this metal has significant importance from managements vantagepoint at Silvercrest.  I say that based on press releases and ...more

its not as sexy as gold or silver and it's uses aren't as in your face as copper but me thinks every one has heard of "carbide" drill bits or tools...more than just lightbulb filiments...and  i like how they just kinda threw it on at the end of the nr wide

It is around $20 / lb. Based on the tiny % it wouldn't make up much $ per ton of ore, so I am see no eyebrow raising importance other than what was press released. They need to keep finding it in more drilling and management does not know what is down there at this point. after i posted my original question i did a bunch of reading....i think tungsten has a bright future and i think we have a lot more or it here than the initial drill results touched on...i agree it will be a much smaller component of revenue than the other metals in this vast and varied deposit but if it becomes as important as i am inferring from the literature... it may be more than a ...more

Nice reversal on parabolic SAR yesterday also penetration of upper bollinger band which was quite narrow. Cant wait to see Q4 results, should be a little more profitable than Q3 thanks to a few accounting technicalities....
