Good one. The bluesky on La Joya is prodcution of up to 40 - 50,000 tons per day if the reserve works out as hoped into a mammoth deposit. Minimum of 3 -4,000 tons production on the high grade alone. It is nice to know the sp does not take La Joya into account, so we have free leverage on it.

The chief was bubbling in the interview about the price moving up due to him getting the word out promoting. I have never seen a promo campaign work, and in the face of precious miners bearishness in the markets now, all his promo gains have been reversed.

Precious miners hit a brick wall of bearishness so they are all down bad as we all know. My post was just that I thought it was funny (in a perverse way) the way he was happily describing the promo questions the day before it all fell flat. I have 100k of svl so it is my most ...more

Eunice, Just a few comments on some of your points.  It's always wise to understand the risks and I do agree that sometimes in today's markets the fundamentals can be strong but may not reflect in the SP.  This is how things are and if you can't take the ups and downs than you are in the wrong place.  SVL is down big?  How do you figure?  I ...more

In fact he didn't bring up the promo, but was asked by the admiring interviewer what had happened to make the stock go up so much.

"In fact he didn't bring up the promo, but was asked by the admiring interviewer what had happened to make the stock go up so much." I recall that Scott Drever credited positive developments at Santa Elena and the enormous blue sky potential at La Joya as being the imputus for the stock price doing so well.  He wasn't pumping the stock or implying that it was a result of ...more
