Wouldn't Surprise me

about a month ago I brought up PTQ, either here, on SANDSTORM's Board and messaged a few friends. I had never heard of them, just happened to spot them while reading

anyhow....days later a unofficial/hostile? Buyout was made for 40 something cents, it was 35-38 cents, and quickly ran up to over 60 cents.

I've been wondering why SilverCrest hasn't made a good sized run-up. Now, I just checked and in the past months over 8 Million shares have been Accumulated by Funds * Insti's, yet w/o moving the stock.

I noticed Sprott owns a large/largest position in both. We all know the Targets range from $3.75, $5.00, $6.50....???...so, if a Bid comes in to Buyout SilverCrest for, lets say $3.60, probably a lot would sell if it went over $4.00...I'm using what's happened to PTQ as a model...something is up, got the same feeling of PTQ, plus the share price and past months action makes no sense..so it makes you wonder.

i just saw this and it should read Accumulated over 8% (8.3%) of the Out.Shares, about 5 Million shares this from my post: """in the past months over 8 Million shares have been Accumulated by Funds * Insti's, yet w/o moving the stock."""   either way, IMHO, Over $3.60 no later than End of Oct

Natural,   Wouldn't surprise me if we get bought out either, I've been saying that for a long time.  I think it would be better if we are not bought out but I am not the one owning the majority of the shares so I have really no say.  You and I are both American owners of the stock, right?  Noticed the difference in the stock price on  the Canadian and the American ...more

Well Sure I agree that its better that we aren't bought out, but SilverCrest has to be one very tempting "low hanging fruit" <<< is someone making it "low-hanging" for this very reason? SilverCrest is in their very first year of Production, the last 3 QTR's as Production was ramping up they posted $0.29 in Earnings, ( 7-12-10 cents ). This ...more

I'm a long term holder of Silvercrest and began accumulating in 2008.  This has been a successful holding for me and I'm very supportive of the management team.  Like Natural, I too am cognizant of our low PE in the 7 range.  One would think we'd trade higher given our clean balance sheet, immediate and certain growth prospects that will double ...more

Edgar,   You bring up some very valid points.  Without question, the value of the company is there, we all agree on that or we would not be stockholders.  I have only owned this stock for about 4 months but it is now my largest holding along with Sandstorm Gold.  I found out about the company through Sandstorm and I now investigate all companies that Sandstorm invests in.  ...more

About the volume, looks like good volume in Canada of late, but not that much on the NYSE, which is what I follow for the most part.  But with that said, there should be more volume on the NYSE than there is, the volume on Sandstorm has picked up emensely since it listed on the NYSE, it traded 850,000 shares vs 107000 for Silvercrest today.  But we need some news to get that volume up.

You delusional guys with your devious short player theories are crackpots. Who would short a company about to release drill results?

Excuse all the colorizing...I just thought I should add some of my old noteshttps://finance.yahoo.com/news/SilverCrest-Retires-Bank-Debt-iw-1495367773.html Barney Magnusson, Chief Financial Officer stated; "Repaying the Project Loan Facility within 6 months of declaring commercial production at the Santa Elena Mine is a major milestone in the Company's development.
