problems in santa elena

what about last week, whole mine was close because the mine didnt pay to the land owners ''ejidatarios'' and they stop operations for entire week. this change will affect in the report of Q??

Idiot kykory shows up with 2 lifetime posts stating there is material bad news that the company is withholding. For novice investors, I will point out that svl wouldn't try to suck the underwriters into something like this, as once it becomes public they would force svl to reprice even lower. i live very close to the mine santa elena, the company who has the machinery in the mine, the miners, the entire staff, spent a week standing, and I think that also costs the mine somehow standby machinery, as there was no movement ore to the crusher or anything, just the security staff as the'' land'' ejido owners not allowed to pass until they agreed to pay. if any one have a million dollar, and you decide to invest this million in a junior company you need to be close to the business, and  i know everything about it. why one year ago the share of SilverCrest down to 1.07 ?    any one????   how can you invest money in something thousands miles away from you, you can not trust in some reports and some news in their web page. you ...more

kykory, I am sure that Silvercrest is one of the larger employers in the area. A one week closure of the mine surely would have made the local paper. Do you have a link to any local papers that may have covered the story?

No, no info on paper news, but i think if you call to city hall in the small town in banamichi they can tell about the problem. Here in sonora the mining world is too small. All projects manager in the dozen of mines are very closed. They are constantly in touch. And this important news whent to la colorada a mine of argonaut co. Some engineers of santa elene send their resume for future problems ...more
