Sredna,   One thing that continues to come up to me, and it was brought up in your interview,  is that the underground has a lot less gold than the strip mine.  I continue to think that Sandstorm will not participate in the underground mine.  I think Silvercrest has enough money to fund the ug on their own between cash on hand and cash flow before the ug opens.  If ...more

The goldstream agreement is clearly difficult to understand in its entirety (for me) but I do believe SSL get Underground Gold as long as SVL's delivery to SSL is less than 50000 ozs. Someone tell me I am wrong. I cannot reconcile whether that means that SSL even have to reimburse 20% of underground development costs to get this make-up delivery, the former being the only monetary commitment ...more

This is from the Sandstorm website:  Santa Elena Gold Stream Sandstorm has a gold stream agreement to purchase 20% of the life of mine gold production from Santa Elena at a per ounce price of US$350. Sandstorm made an upfront payment of US$12 million in cash and 700,000 common shares (3.5 million pre-consolidation) to acquire the stream in May 2009.  If SilverCrest decides to develop an ...more

There is a 50k oz clause (refer actual agreement) and I would add that SVL does not even have an obligation to give Notice to SSL that they want any goldstream agreement for the Underground Mine: it is up to SVL entirely. As to your last point, SVL had no problem doing equity financings in 2008, 2009 (at 1.10 and 65cents) and beyond and they used, as you will know, the original 2008 MBL to ...more
