More Stock Dilution

I hope everyone on this Board calls Fred Cooper tomorrow (1-604-694-1730, ext 108) to express their displeasure with this latest move! 

Why does this need to be done? If there is a good explanation - where is it? They pulled this move a year ago, and here they go again. WTF - they have tons of cash on hand, plus an untouched $40M LOC but they dilute our share price again....sorry but this move not easy to accept

Timmie, Considering the fact that management holds a significant amount of shares, I highly doubt that their motives were sinister when it came to this financing.  In other words, I doubt they would shoot themselves in the foot by diluting shareholders considering they are large shareholders themselves.  Silvercrest did this $20 million financing for a reason, we just arent privy as to ...more

Great post Scott. I would love for SVL to continue going up in a straight line, but seriously folks...in the month of February alone, SVL has gone from $2.06 to a close of $2.93 yesterday (Feb 18)...that's more than a 42% gain and setting new 52 wk highs in the process... SVL finished trading at $1.81 on Dec 31 2013...so the gain since the start of 2014 to Feb 18 becomes nearly 62% Today ...more

Well I don't get. $24MM cash in hand 09/13, undrawn $40MM line of credit, over 8MM in the money options average $1.70., $10MM of capex and explor planned for 2014 was brought over from 2013, record prodn Q4 2013 albeit lower Ag price...I guess they could not resist the offer from Dundee, after all the latter only get 5.5% cash reward from the deal while we go down 10% 0n our holdings!!!
