Hey Mates,

This could be the start of an interesting scenario playing out.  COTS showed record silver shorts in place last week.

Now hopefully we'll see their house of cards collapse.  Here's to good days ahead for SVL.

The events in IRAQ has thrown a wrench into the shorts...hence why we are seeing a spike in Silver.  US will have to deploy some troops to IRAQ to calm the situation.  I think that's why we are seeing the spike in silver.   IMHO...

Probably it has to do with Yelens view on inflation. The 2% target has been reached, and Yelen is not concerned and wont raise rates. "Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is downplaying concerns about rising inflation, despite recent signs that price increases are picking up. Basically she is worried about infaltion not being HIGH ENOUGH! Even though the official inflation rate is already above the 2% target. She will continue to downplay inflation or state that high inflation is an advantage. Now she is starting to only look at the CORE CPI, which does not include energy and food. If that rate is at 2% the core CPI might be at 3% etc. And even if it is at 3% she will ...more
