Does anyone have any ideas what has caused this sudden volume surge?

Drill results wont be in for a couple of months, political climate has not changed recently... Not sure what speculation is driving this interest?

 from my technical point of view...    Just look at Gold performance since last December coming off the bottom Dec Low 1045.40$ to actual 1259.30$ https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=%24GOLD&p=W&yr=0&mn=6&dy=0&id=p35678597441 add SCA into a seasonal trending pattern from past 2 Years...  plus results in few weeks...  from ...more

It doesn't appear to be "speculation" driving the current interest.  Rather it's likely more and more people are learning of Savary's extraordinary observations along a 40Km long series of gold showings revealed by native surface miners.  The odds of this becoming economic are unusually high and as Burkina averages 3 years from discovery to mine, the wait time ...more
