A Newsletter

I subscribe to a newsletter and he is putting a sell signal out on the stock. His reasons were that they needed money, and a large broker/investor called the company, and they did not return that person's phone call. The newsletter writer stated that they must not care about their company all that much!

Comment by Brownie51 on Dec 08, 2014 8:44am
Could tell us which newletter you are referring to
Comment by RedSox on Dec 08, 2014 9:25am
I don't know why people post stuff and omit the details.  The Newsletter and the person the poster was referring to is Brent Cook of Exploration Insights.

Nortzy27, My experience with Brent Cook has always been a positive one. I think he is one of the more honest people out there. Brent Cook is NOT a pump and dump artist he has a thesis/criteria that he bases his investments upon and he holds to those firmly. If anything deviates from his original reasons for investing he will sell his holdings even if the company is strong and intrinsically solid. ...more

Hey RedSox I would be interested to know the reasons that Brent Cook is selling. I think he is a smart guy who is worth listening to. (A couple of years ago he sold another stock I own, and I really regret not following his lead). Obviously cutting and pasting from a private newsletter would be a problem. However, I think if you just give a general indication of the main ...more

Nostril, I will say this much, Brent acknowledges that the technology is superior and he did say he would buy back into Synodon once the issues that made him decide to sell have been addressed.  I, personally do not feel right specifying the reasons for his selling as he provides the reasons in full detail only in his paid newsletter and not anywhere else.

Hey redsox. You have a good insight in Synodon stock. May I know your reasoning for holding Synodon? -techiy
Comment by RedSox on Dec 09, 2014 10:12pm
Techiy:     My reason for holding synodon is because I see too much upside with this company and I see they are actively growing the company.  Brent Cook sold this stock but for anyone who knows Brent Cooks investment strategy he invests based on specific reasons and specific criteria with specific checkpoints and milestones he expects to see.  If he does not see those ...more

Let me start with the negatives. Synodon is an unprofitable company that is running out of cash in one of the worst financing environments in memory. Based on this in isolation, the downside is 100%. I also think the company has made some strategic mistakes. In my mind a start up like this should have: 1. Developed the product to the point that it was better than the alternatives. 2. Sold ...more

Can you reference your source? Or maybe you are asked not to do this as a subscriber? People think Cook. But still need confirmation. People are guessing. Having said that, they do seem to need money. Take a good look at their financial statements, they just don't generate enough revenue to cover expenses despite the contracts they have and their balance sheet is very thin. Don't have ...more

Hey Ranger. The only two people that would talk about Synodon are Brent Cook and Paul Van Eeden but Paul is in the board of directors and won't talk shi..t about it. That leads us to Brent Cook who has a subscriber only newletter and is known for Pumping and dumping. As for profitability, Synodon will be profitable in Q4 if the revenues are as mentioned. The question is can they fill their ...more

Good potential as you say, but it seems they will need funds to expand. The way I read it, they cannot be profitable at their current capacity and are maxed out on their resources running at full capacity. Because they have so little cash, still losing money, we need to see how they will raise cash. Be cautious until you see this, this could be bad or good.. hard to tell, but they need to make a ...more

cook states that he gives a sell order ,then sells.....,does he sell before that?,he claims he does not, however ive followed him for yrs ,if i was a company i would pay cook to not buy my stock ,the poor suckers who follow his pump,my guess its just a guess he sells before ,im with chinvestment on his call,,,,

argaiv, I find it suspect that you left aoi.v board which you were quite prolific on and posted here for the first time. Do you own the SYD? If you subscribe to a news letter, what is the name of the person who wrote it? If I were the CEO of SYD and I needed money, and a large investor called me I would most certainly return the call. Your post was done on Sunday 7 dec. just in time for Monday ...more

Well for all we know argaiv could of sold 500k shares this morning and could be bull shi..ting us. The only newsletter he would subscribe to is Brent Cook as he's the only one who has ever talked about Synodon. OR argaiv pulled his own scheme and created a panic sale which would be fairly impressive. Now we need to find someone who subscribes to Brent Cook's $140 per month news letter to ...more
