Just for correction these are March contracts that had the jumb and it is not due the rollover that typically happens 21 or 22 of the month. Anyway the cold weather is going to push this further. Short squeeze did not happen yet so still waiting patiently for the big moves. We are still at the bottom. We did not even reach sp 3$.

It is almost impossible to determine exact short positions. At a minimum there were more that 12 million shares short on Jan 15th. That is enough to get a few shorts nervous.

That is correct 12 millions out 180 millions. Average volume about 1+ million a day. No large volumes are recorded so far after Jan 15th. So no significant covering is expected. Most of these shares are shorted at these levels as sp was around 2 for a while now. How the hell the 12 millions are going to covered? Anyway time will tell.
