Advantage energy buying back 60% of their float

I've never seen this before done in this short time frame can any one shed any light this is a massive purchase. I'm surprised theires not more chatter here but then only a few seem to follow aav. Brookfield is a big investor in entropy perhaps they think this is going to be bigger than they thought

Good timing cause next year they get taxed. I suspect next year they will pay a dividend instead.

Loonie I think it's really a nuthin burger ...over a year away companies will adjust I believe in the US it's a 1% tax. We do need to get rid of the libs but that's up to the voters in Quebec and Ontario they control the vote

They would make a lot more in tax revenue by helping the companies grow production and helping Entropy store the CO2. They want to suppress  oil and gas industry and grow tax revenue from it all at same time. How did that work for quebec.

Quebec and Ontario control the vote regardless of how the rest of the country votes so we need them on board to get rid of Trudeau..jmo
