federal budget delay

So good ol liberals (freeland) caught me off guard and announced today that the budget is going to be delayed and not in March now but "sometime in spring". I thought it was pretty much a done deal and they are just finalizing details.

Do you think the budget needs to be tabled first then the aviation sector bailout can be finalized? or would it be the other way around?

A responsible government would work the aid within a budget.. but this is the liberals we are talking about so it could be the other way around.

What's everyone's thoughts?

My opinion they are delaying it until just before they want to call an election.  That should be around the time the vaccines are finally starting to reach us in reasonalbe numbers.  That way they can continue to buy your vote with promises and new improved vaccine numbers and the economy starting to open up.  Like sheep most will believe that this time will be different than all
