Ok, here's the math.  In South Africa, a population of about 60 million, only 420 are in the ICU.  Many of these were already in the ICU for other reasons and contracted Omicron.   Of those who were admitted to hospital with Omicron and are in the ICU, 88 percent are unvaccinated. Funny you misslead with your data do you see the graph in your link week to week it is on a very sharp rise. There is almosst 6000 people in hospital 888 on oxygen 420 in the ICU but those number are * because the data for the week is incomplete and will change and grow as the week moves forward. Now you also have to take in to account the numebr of people in south aferica who can not get access
