One question for Returns2021

What will happen when travel restrictions start easing in the not so distant future?
What will happen, when all of a sudden, travel becomes less complicated, just like it used to be before? What will happen with all this pent up demand? People that haven't seen loved ones for a couple of years because it was just a hassle to travel. What will happen when all the people who have been dreaming of travelling for the last 2 years get the green light?

Returns2021.......your response to this question will reveal a lot about your intelligence?

You are a waste of time and clueless on finances and how markets work.  Of course there will be an increase in travel.  The difference now is that costs for airliners have gone through the roof which will severely impact profitability.  And no, they will not fix all of that through price increases.  Factor in that a lot of people are struggling with expenses given high costs of ...more

not answering for returns but answering this question/statement you have made. it almost sounds like a desperate attempt to convince yourself you made the right investment lol so yes travel restrictions will ease until the next pandemic hits.  Historically every 6 years so we have 3 to go before the next one. (SARS/H1N1/Covid)  so that give you 3 years to try and regain normal ...more

You are absolutely right! Risk is always present, as you say, a stock market crash is possible, and if it's the case, even good companies go down. Time will tell! There are possibilities of conflicts as well, again, time will tell, it's not a given!
