Watch the rest of H1 2024. WTI oil will go below 70. AC will have perfect hedges in place for H2 when oil price will move up to the 80+ range. AC can make plenty of money with oil at 100+. Sudden changes are the ones that are harder to absorb without prior hedges. The current crop of Aeroplan clients are hell bent on travelling regardless of increasing seat pricing. They have money and life is short. Covid changed travel attitudes among the affluent. And there are plenty of them in all age groups. The Trudeau era of crooks created a bigger divide.. the wealthy got wealthier and the handout class got poorer.
