Agreed, dont think they can afford to sandbag another Quarter. Also eager to commence share buybacks at these depressed prices. Pilots also eager to receive all that back pay coming to them. Meetings begin with Conciliator next week. A final offer could be presented befor Q2, and hopefully accepted.

A full one third of AC trading volume in the second half of June was short sales. It was over 40% in the first half. These Shorts will quickly take their foot off the SP and rush to cover as soon as the labour deal is made, and when buybacks are announced. We'll be back in the $20s immediately. Last information, the negotiations are not progressing at all, they have had two meetings and the company did not show up once, the union follows the deadlines, in order to move on to the next step

what meetings are you referring to? They are due to meet with conciliator this week

information provided by the MEC was that FMCS will facilitate introductory meetings with union and company the third week of July
