Deal or no deal?
I believe deal is getting close, the salary expectation most likely set at matching or most likely beating westjet. Union looking for other gains in lifestyle etc. to sweeten the pot for its members
The Conciliator can, within 14 days report to the Minister, ending the conciliation period. However, 60 days is the common practice.Additionally, the 60-day conciliation period can be extended by the mutual ageements of the parties.
If no agreement is reached, right to strike/lockout cannot be exercised until:
1) A valid strike vote( within 60 days preceeding the strike notice being given)
2) 72 hour notice must be served

If true it would be great news but it's the exact opposite of what I've found - no meaningful progress.

Too clarify, It seems there's lots of progress on secondary/non-monetary items but slow progress on the main items.
