ALPA leaping to the rescue on this board, LMAOROF. There is ZERO public support for ALPA, and ZERO support from traveling clients. Fair wages are in order and a rational contract in the Canadian context. The pilots shortage is another long tale which is not quite working out. REALITY CHECK - in the coming renewed Trump era of protectionism, let's see the Canadian pilots getting jobs in the US. Not happening. Even their own ALPA members in the US will oppose it. Maybe jobs as baggage handlers at Delta to get the career restarted.
