This will be ratified

Canadians are waking up today to finally understanding what a pilot makes in a year...  The reaction on radio/tv,/newspapers is lukewarm at best!

If the pilots reject this potential agreement --- they are idiots because the population will turn against them and therefore, politicians will feel comfortable to impose the next agreement.

Question for the group How are WJ pilots feeling today?

More secure in their jobs because AC will be at a disadvantage poerating cost wise.

Well... That's what a rational human being would probably think but rationality (common sense) is in very short supply lately...

we do not know the whole picture of what pilots make. Sounds like there is a pay scale based on years of experience - no details US pilots pilot wages similar. Suspect pilots can work for any airline, planes are the same Rairoad engineers - wages and employment issues are not public so it it is not possible to understand.

Get your facts straight.  The starting wage is well over 80K now and about to be well over 120K once the contract is ratified.  It was all about getting those new pilots paid more.

I'm looking at the pay tables, what are you referencing?  Something you heard on CBC?  A company news release? The new year one payrate is $84.12 and pilots generally get paid for 900 hours ...more

I may sound like Trump, but I do know a third year pilot for AC that made well over 100K last year and appears very happy with this new contract.  Will look forward to ratification and GLTA share holders!
