US jobs strong again
Dow up 600 points. AD.UN flat.
To a certain extent, AD is a proxy for the US economy, given its diversified portfolio of US business investments. But the stock is getting no love today.

It isn't listed on the DOW or for that matter on the NASDAQ.

His point was that if the US markets are bullish, then AD should rise as well since it is directly linked to the US consumer through their holdings. It isn't respomding in this way although the S&P and Nasdaq are at yearly highs.

That's why it is important to be selective when choosing a stock. Every company has it's own story along with its weakness and strengths.
