Donville Kent Management

Last week when I was watching their presentation at the Virtual Money Show, I submitted a question about ADCO. The moderator did not get to my question, however, as can be seen, DKM's Investor Relations rep was kind enought to get back to me with an answer. Here was her response. GLTA

Thanks so much for joining our MoneyShow segment yesterday! Hope you had as much fun as we did. I wanted to follow up and provide an answer to your question about Adcore.

Adcore was one of our top picks last year (up 120% in 2020). We view Adcore as a dark horse out of favor. It was stress-tested in 2020, remaining profitable despite the pandemic. As you may recall, Adcore issued a press release in late 2020 noting the loss of a major client. However, the press release was misunderstood as new client wins more than made up for the loss. In fact, when the stock dipped, we seized the opportunity to add more to our position.

The company has a strong balance sheet with significant cash reserves. Last summer, Adcore launched an app in the Shopify app store and also opened its Asian headquarters in Hong Kong to capitalize on the Chinese market, which has the second largest digital ad market in the world ($128 billion in digital ad spend 2020). Guidance suggests approximately 100% revenue growth in Q4 driven by strong growth out of Asia. Additionally, Adcore announced last month that it will list on a US exchange.

Great answer from DKAM. Sarah, the VP investor relations, was on one of their recent shows and seems very capable.

There are also indications that he may be returning to Market Call so we might expect to see him again in the next couple of months. GLTA

Yes I buy almost all companies he reccomends ASAP because they always take off soon after, im up 175% on Adcore so far and plan to hold as long as they remain profitable etc.  On another note, I noticed Jason owns Ackroo Inc. in his fund's portfolio, as well as personally! So if you're a fan of his picks, I would look into that one, might be a hidden gem nobody even talks about ...more

Ackroo looks like a great company  and probably a long term winner. I've looked into this in the past and it's the type of company I'd like to own.  By the way, Jason has been buying shares in his rrsp accounts as well as in his DKAM capital ideas fund.

I'm a fan of Donville as well. Bought ADCO largely because I saw it in his Jan 2020 Newsletter. It's 4 times what I paid for it now.  Also bought QIS after seeing it as one of his picks for the decade of the 2020's, but it hasn't done much, down a few % since I bought it.  Covid has hurt them, as their software is in the auto dealership business.  Thanks for ...more

Goeasy is a long time favourite of mine and I've owned it from the Easyhome days ( I think I told you this before) . I recently purchased Ackroo and initiated my position in Quorum at the end of 2020. I followed Quorum for over a year before I purchased it.  Both of these companies are involved in the car dealership space with Quorum working with over 1000  dealerships to Ackroo with ...more
