Tony Makuch is HISTORY

What a dope. How to destroy shareholder value Tony. For what? Your poor decision making will forever be held up as to how not to execute a merger.

Any ideas why he left?
Comment by Quintessential1 on Feb 24, 2022 7:25am
Sure.  He left because he can no longer screw over KL shareholders without also taking down AEM shareholders too. I hope the DB has left for an open pit uranium mine.   Let's hope the market feels the same way and rewards AEM for absolutely reaming KL and then kicking their dumbass mangement to the curb. GLTA

Very interesting.  History repeats.........Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel.  Same BAD actors. The buyout, The new job and title, and then the exit.  Remind anyone of the Tahoe / Lakeshore Gold deal.   LOL Interesting for sure.

Brillliant move by Boyd.  Trump would approve.  Promise Tony the top job at the new company to get him to sell out his own shareholders, and then make life impossible for him after the deal is consummated.

This would be some next level 4d chess play that would actually make me want to keep my remaining AEM shares. Tony absolutely sold us KL shareholders of for pennies on the dollar.

All I can say is I'm glad I'm history with AEM too.  I left the ship late October.  Long gone were the days of cash on the books, low AISC, no debt, growing dividends, stock buybacks, etc.
