Thanks for the BNN link and a good well spoken and  informative interview. The compensation package leaves a bad taste in my mouth and so will be interested to see how it gets resolved now that some big investors are peeved. One of the comments by Sean Boyd in the past was to cast some doubts on Macassa and Detour and so very interesting to see how these 2 stalwart mines from Kirkland are now ...more

... bad taste in your mouth ! ?  Well, as for me... more like, it is hard to believe that a bonus of this size for a well placed strategy is considered appropriate. I mean, what happen to the already well paid position that brings the responsibility to do well no matter what. This type of action is like inflation, just keeps being copied and passed along ... i am ok with an extra sized reward ...more

My understanding was that IG was opposing this compensation package.  Did they manage to do anything about it or is it a done deal? TIA  GLTA

I was in the AGM when this topic came up, management knew it was being shot down due to the early voting results, and by the comments made it was by a wide margin as they stated they didn't expect the results to change from the voting that day, and it didn't. "Management is disappointed, but respects the vote of the shareholders" (and the silence in the room was deafening) (and ...more

Management should be in tune with the shareholder base enough to not propose something that is likely to fail.This leaves everyone with a bad taste and could lead to less motivation for management. I voted against it as I felt results should and could have been much better. Maybe we need some management changes here. Just my two cents.
