Incorrect percentage loss

AEM closed yesterday at $49.14 US and $66.50 CAD.

Today's loss is based on incorrect closing prices of $48.74 US and $65.95 CAD. Isn't this weird?

No. AEM is trading ex-dividend today. So price represent the dividend of USD0.40 has been allocated to shareholders who held the shares at the end of yesterday's trading session.
