Is the rate cut definately going to be bullish?

Lately I see a lot of expectations for a 1/2 percent rate cut from the FED.

So if they decide to play it on the safe side for the ultra soft perfect landing and only cut a quarter point will the markets take that as a bearish signal?

Once this name hits ATHs again how much upside is left?

A good problem for sure but still a problem if you're not holding long.

A divy raise could ease some exiting. I thought we would have seen one last quarter.

A divvy raise would be welcome , or a "special" dividend of a substantial amount. Personally , I,m hoping for a stock split. A 3 for 1 would be most welcome in my opinion.

Stock splits add no value that I can see.  In fact they may actually ecourage the kind of sell off I was hoping they could avoid with a dividend raise allowing long term holders to liquidate some shares while still keeping the same share count or more than they had before.  I guess its a nice way to get some vaue out while keeping your toe in but it can be done anyway if you really want ...more

The effects of a stock split broadens the distribution of a company,s shares , increases marketability and facilitates equity financing in the future if required. I agree that it adds no value per ...more

Well I'm not against a stock splt.  Especially if it encourages more investment. AEM currently yields less than 2% so a bump might encourage potential profit takers to hold. Of course a big rate cut might take AEM to ATHs taking the yield under 1.5%. You have to think an increase would be more than warranted then. Given that today is payday and the FED is expected to cut rates on ...more

Things stocks yield is 1.94%, so a dividend increase would be welcomed.  As for a 3-1 stock split, no.  Go from half a million shares to 1.5 billion, bad plan.  At that share count you are guaranteed no dividend increase.

Yeah I can take or leave a stock split but a  3-1 spit is just proportional on both the share price value and the divy and of course any future divy increase.  They just divide them all by 3. GLTY and all
