Nice interview!  Does Lewis sggest that at some point Almonty will delist from TSX? whois

Could you blame him, where is the love from Canada...RBC, Dundee, Sprott, nothing ...not one penny raised in Toronto for this build, it's all come from the US, Germany and now, Australia...
Comment by TechOne on Jul 01, 2021 7:38pm
He suggested that primary listing at some point will be in South Korea and  secondary listing on ASX and they will still maintain German listing because the profile they have with the financing and OTCQX listing because all the friends and family and other investors are in US but in repeating all the listings TSX was noticably not mentioned..  Did he miss it ? Or was it deliberate ? Or ...more

Deliberate or not...TSX is not the future of Almonty. It is good to have the listing on the TSX since it paves the way for the listing on the ASX. TSX was simply one of the first steps in the evolution of the company. But the recent years have shown that Canada in general  has no more significance for this company. The real backers of this company are in the US, Europe and Asia, as Lewis ...more

I do hope if they decide to get off TSX, the US listing will be upgraded to a full Nasdaq or NYSE listing because Canadians can't hold OTC stocks in RRSP etc.  US funds etc. can't hold them either so it will be quite restrictive..  I guess we will have to wait and see..

I have the same issue Have been an investor for over a decade The old oriental mining days when Peter Grandich was the promoter All shares in my RRSP Hope I am not forced to sell Edmed

i don't think it will happen in the near future anyway, if at all. so nothing to worry about for the moment.

If we do leave TSX does that mean this board will close ? To me this board is one of the most open freedom of speach sites that does not care if a online fight occurs, or short posts, or any opinions are made. Hot Copper is so strict on rules it will be impossible to speak out loud on anything at all. I have tried a few times to post, but only get a message that does not tell me clearly what is ...more

I could be wrong, but I actually don't find that the volume has been any higher in Germany and the US (especially the US) over Canada as far as shares traded per day. And with the population of Canada vs US and Germany, isn't there actually better volume out of Canada?
Comment by whoisyourpapa on Jul 02, 2021 1:16pm
I don't think its as much about the volumbe on the exchanges in those countries but rather where the money to the company (for financings) is coming from USA: Plansee Group (Also Europe based) Germany: DRAG.  Most fiancings the company has in place now are with European firms Canada:  I think Dundee was the last one to do a convertible dibenture but that was years ago In any case I ...more

it's not only about volume...it's about the quality of investors buying. in canada we have a lot of (naked) shorting and penny flippers who sell at a few % gains. this does not support the company, big problem of TSX, TSXV in general... in the us and germany we have long term and stable investors to buy to hold, by this they provide long term stability for the company and support the ...more

Would be great to see it listed in US

ALMTF is listed on the US OTC Market. It needs to move to the NASDAQ once the share price increases..
Comment by lonade on Jul 06, 2021 2:12pm
Almonty is listed in the US on the OTCQX International.  Maybe you're referring to NASDAQ...in my view there is absolute no need for Almonty to move to that platform. OTCQX International is an excellent platform that allows all (institutional or retail) US investors access to the company.
Comment by lonade on Jul 06, 2021 2:14pm
@Chrisp LOL you were faster by a few minutes, didn't even see your response yet...it seems we disagree on this one ;-)
Comment by chrisp6712 on Jul 06, 2021 6:00pm
Mr. Black would like Almonty to be listed on the NASDAQ since his shares are ALMTF. Just saying.
