Still doesn’t have the money

The deal has been "imminent" for 3 years now. Not sure how anyone can believe in these foolish statements

Mrsprott do you own shares of Almonty?  If so why?  If not whats the difference to you if they make, as you say, "foolish statements"? whois

3 years... still doesn't have the cash.  yes Lewis, this has been a "miserable journey", your lack of transparency over the last three years of the "imminent" financing has really lost the trust of the public. I don't think I need to mention the late filing issues and trade halts for obvious incompetence.  Time to step aside, your work here is done ...more

well he's picked the wrong board...regardless if it's someone new or an "old friend" this board is definitely the most "seasoned" in experience that i have encountered since a while. so on one side it is on the lower scale of the "oh my good this stock will be worth 100 CAD in two months!!!! Diamond Hands", but allows for a good balance of informed ...more

Moving at a glacial pace, meanwhile the rest of the metals sector has been exploding. Time is ticking

You have the smell of a past pest poster with many handles. Your posts are about as usefull as a Woodpecker with a rubber beak. When the SP goes up, you try to drop it for your cheap gains. Stinky bum time bomb.

[/quote, I can say for certain that I am the only ex-Woulfe employee on this board that posts. In 2013 we had in our Sydney Australian office a team of 6 (not including the CEO and his son) and one has sadly passed away back then, another was a young geo lady, and the rest of us are retired now. I keep in touch with my old friends, and they are (like me) hanging on till full production as we ...more

So you just admitted you are a shill, well that was unnecessary, we already knew. back to the facts, any investors who isn't tied to the teets with management is furious at this 3 year old promised financing. And since you have been around for a while, you would know that we should already be in full production. Not only has the financing  been delayed for years, so has the entire ...more

Mrsprott, do you believe this project will fall apart? If so, sell on the bump in SP and take off eh! If you think the project will be a success in the next couple years, then stick around, maybe trade around the consistent rises and falls to make a profit. Most of us have been holding this stock a long time and will wait for the future success. We are all sitting on significant profits already ...more

Chill. Life's too short. I'm a long-time investor who isn't furious. Mr. Black has done a masterful job of getting the company to this point and will ultimately be extremely successful. Good luck.

Been around since 2011, very infrequent poster but I check in every few weeks. Full disclosure: Long, average price of .52c. I like this board, it's a reasonable place for discussion. While I'm long AII's future. I agree with Mrsprott. It's hard to continue to hear the same thing quarter after quarter.  That is not to say that things have not moved forward, clearly real ...more

as someone who personally manages projects of this and much larger magnitude, i can say that it can take time to put the pieces into place prior to taking the decision to actually proceed into construction...some examples: - project delayed by 6 months due the the local authorities not providing us the permits.  -1,5 years delay from the day we actually have the approved cash due to us ...more

Ionade excerpt :- "at this stage we should simply keep focusing on them achieving the planned progress. i can tell you it is a daily battle to deal with all the unforeseen obstacles. a project never goes as planned." To Mrspott or what ever new handle you choose :- As you said, you think I am a "shill", not right, I was a past worker for Woulfe Mining Corp. then it went bust. ...more

Answer this: would you have taken the loan at a different rate 3 years ago and had this mine in full production by now or are you happy with the ridiculous terms expected on this "low rate" loan? IMO, the market doesn't care what the loan rate is, just get the mine into production, proves its assets and then sell to a major. This is not rocket appliances! it appears management set ...more

well said as a typical junior mining investor who supports the bloodbath dilution of each shareholder. there is nothing much left of the company value once it reaches production! bravo. thx for that excellent example on why the junior mining industry in the TSX/ TSXV has lost most of its credibility. to add on to your example; those that choose your bloodbath dilutive financing should look at ...more

A person who gets pissed while investing probably shouldn't be an investor. Investing with emotion is a losing proposition.
Comment by lonade on Nov 21, 2021 7:54am
geez chrisp, you must be a robot LOL but agree, all investing decisions should be taken with as little emotion as possible (as for me, can't fully keep them out!)

Not a robot but I realize if a stock goes down it's my mistake unless company fraud is involved. I didn't do enough DD before I invested in Almonty and didn't understand how long it takes to open a mining operation and how difficult it was to separate Tungsten.  Having said that, I feel like I understand the mining space better and have great confidence Almonty's share price ...more
