financing

after all of this I am now starting to believe this financing will never be finalized. the delays have just been one after the other and have gone on for far too long. I have a bad feeling that the plug is about to be pulled

We are too far along in the process for the loan to be cancelled. Plus there is high demand for Almonty Tungsten.  Big players don't do things half-as?ed. When they commit, they commit. Big players make a plan and stick to it. For Plansee, we are just a small part of their larger plan.  Recall there are global supply chain issues so getting materials will be a problem ...more

I had no doubts for a long time. I have some now. Started about a fortnight ago.

Agree. Why would the Korean Govt. build and supply free water, power lines, roads to site ? Why would Almonty start and build the underground tunnels and galleries which are now 6 months ahead of schedule ? Why would Almonty build and complete the road and river stage ? Why am I not worried ? Fu**ed if I know. Just going with the flow as I see it.

Granted this hickup is annoying, but I am more focused on Almonty's growth strategy.  The one thing I didn't like was the fact that we sized the infrastructure for 640kt, and then the S.K. Govt and Industry showed up at the 11th hour saying hey Almonty, you need to produce more output than your pnanned maximum capacity. Well how is that going to work? Are we having two sets of all ...more

The time has come and gone, they are just delaying the inevitable. Deal is dead. something rotten in the state of Denmark

640kt will be almost twice that at 1.2ish mt full ramp up, but as I said before, Almonty might have left a bit more romm in the design to go further. I'm just not sure, but maybe. In the old and last Woulfe Mining Corp process plant layout drawings that we produced there was two steams of mills and process equipment sitting on the river level of the site, plus a stockpile fully enclosed that ...more

Forget about me. The ones that have taught me the most about the ruthless world of investing has been Ionade (project manager and more), crisp (now gone), whois, GG, TechOne, chisles and many more, plus yourself. Jan 30 2022 excerpt from you :- "This board has a track record of many competent people presenting information, to which I have enjoyed reading their opinions and I hope to ...more

You mentioned a lot of very good contributors which I enjoyed reading their comments over the years. This is one of the reasons I liked this board so much. It is very unusual to have several competent people on one board. And I attribute that to the fact these intelligent people know a good thing when they see it, and are drawn to Sangdong and now Almonty.   So I ran my own ...more

The first point I highlighted that you made about automation reflects my earlier comment :- "The spooky question is, are you involved in AI or do you write algorithm programs for these automations ? Dont answer if you do not want to." I can see your point now, and damn, I would have loved to have read one of your papers. Like "Automation for Dummies". lol. The only automation ...more

Silver... It is hard to write a book about it because automation is a way of life for me. Most techies are lazy. They don't want to put all of the extra effort in. An analogy of what automation would be comparing programming in a high level language like Python, Java, or Javascript to Assembler.  Assembler requires all of the nitty-gritty details, and that is what intelligent ...more
