New Releases - Meat & Potatoes - Future Growth

(My Opinion)
  • LB did say shareholders reach out to him and that he has come to know some of them and feels that he has is accountable and has a responsibility to respond to them. To be clear, his response has to be leagally made public to all in news releases and not to give one investor an advantage over another. LB has also publicly stated that he has come to know some of these shareholders, through their queries for information. (These are the investors other than the main investors, who have presented logical and constructive correspondence).
  • The reason for my previous statement is, I don't think there are many shareholders owning this stock i.e. under 1500, with many holding large positions. It also explains why this stock is so tightly held.  [  55% of the shareholders are free float and others (that is us) which makes about 115.5M shares and if they own 100k shares each, then there is 1155 shareholders at the most. ]

  • Through regular meaningful dialog and discourse in which the members of this board have a long track record in producing, I am making a further supposition where I wouldn't be surprised if LB read this board on a regular basis, using as one source to keep a pulse on the sentiment of Almonty shareholders. LB has definitely demonstrated the shareholders concerns are important to him.
  • If LB is reading this board, then I would say to him lets not act like a small company. I personally don't want to hear news releases on every pebble that gets over turned at Sangdong. In my opinion, we should have quarterly news releases with substantial information, with details containing a whole lot of meat and potatoes along with a boat load of gravy. The only exception to these quarterly news releases are those related to financial regulatory requirements.  There is too much work that needs to be done befor Almonty to be in a position to be ready for the Commodity Super Cycle and time is of the essence. Focus on the work and get it done asap. A small amount of time should be devoted to potential aquisition prospects to ensure the future growth of Almonty. This too needs to be done...NOW.

  • Perhaps some of you may think I am totally getting ahead of myself, but time flies. 3 years is nothing to which Sangdong should be operating at maximum capacity. Valtreixal should be near production and plan for Moly mining should be under development or construction. At this point only 5.5 years should be left on the loan repayment.
  • We need to be in position before the world, the market, investors, mine owners wake up to the commodity super cycle. I would like to see the purchase of at least one if not more substantial mines (with mine life in excess of 20 years) before the world wakes up. Forget dividend payouts.....focus on aquisitions...as many as possible....Grow! Grow! Grow!!!  Get the stock price over $20 Canadian, then at your leasure declare a stock split (4 or 5 to one)  and dividend payout.  Growth is our Priority !!!! Let's take advantage of this opportunity.

  • My final comments are on the number of shareholders.... Think about it. If there are only 1000 shareholders, most don't even read this board because they are firm in their decision in owning this stock. They don't need convincing.  Of the messages posted on this board, there are only 80 reads on average....not many are following to which only 12.5% of us post. I encourage you to keep the dialog going. In our own way, we are advertising this stock.  The time will come, when the market will wake up to this stock and one of the first place many will come to is this board. So keep the conversation going. Voice your point of view but have substance supporting your position, and be prepared for others to voice their opinion, for or against yours. This is an opportunity for us to learn and grow.  For all of you old time posters who haven't posted in a long time, I would really like to see your participation again as I have really enjoyed reading your posts.

Excerpt from 1/4$ (I hope you dont mind this moniker). 5ilver.... names and titles given or assigned to me don't mean anything to me.  I tell my boss, they can assign any title they want to me, including technical janitor.  So 1/4$, "few cents short of a $", "half pint"........ If you are going to call me a name, I just ask be creative about it... ;) This is really important 5ilver, can you repost the link ...more

I earlier posted we have approx 1000-1500 shareholders....... which is my guestimate.  I could be wrong. But on Facebook, there are 2800 followers......for various reasons.  30% potentially are new investors (if my original guestimate is correct), waiting to pull the trigger.

I relistened to that IIF Q&A and I agree with the importance of transparency. With regular updates and milestone tracking offered on the Almonty website in the near future, I don't think there will be a lot of shareholder questions/doubts regarding the Sangdong's march to production. Besides, these questions will be the easy ones to answer.  Furthermore, the loan payback ...more

No chance of dividends for 5 years imo

I don't think so either: 2.5 year grace period for loan 6.25 year payback period....might be slightly increased with the $50M additional loan. Rollout of Valtreixal to production Moly mine to production and virtical integrated plant built. Then the question is what will be done after that. We will profit far more if he grows the company in lieu of paying dividends. However ...more

Now that is what I say when it comes to insights, analysis, research and the one I should have added "integrity".

lets not be too critical....

A typical lame post. No back up. No insights. Zero analysis and research. A waste of space IMHO.

Aii has to be profitable for at least 4 quarters before a dividend can be considered. It has not had a profitable quarter for several years and will not until sangdong is in operation for a year. AFM has paid a dividend after one year of operation, it is an exception due to its high grade and run up in tin price. It is a horse race for start up between KIS Dolphin in Ausatralia and Sangdong ...more
