There are a couple of observations or opinions I have gathered from this article: Other than raising interest rates alone, can the Government create a process to intentionally cause supply chain disruptions for thier country? This potentially could be another tool for the Government to use to combat Inflation.  LB has made many public statements such as this one which is not ...more

I like your ideas for the Almonty website. I have noticed Lewis Black is more frequently quoted talking about economics than he is talking about Almonty. Can anyone share why Lewis seems to be a go to resource on inflation and economic topics? thanks for any info.

"Can anyone share why Lewis seems to be a go to resource on inflation and economic topics?" Yeah, he has two operating mines, and two mines to start. He has his finger on the pulse of many energy/mineral ministers around the World and he is admired and respected by those. The rest are envious for what they cant do to match a smart CEO.

Thanks for your thoughts. I am not implying I don't like Lewis Black, I think he is very good at what he does, as in Tungsten mining. My curiosity is why they speak with him when there are many other qualified individuals (mining in general, not necessarily tungsten) out there. Almonty is a very small company in terms of miners, it just seems odd to me that he gets picked rather than CEO ...more

I dont know if was picked, maybe he put his hand up to comment ? Los Santos is producing product, but not from hard rock mining. They are reclaiming Tungsten from the existing tailings dams and when done they will resume normal operations.

The more I think about it, I would say Lewis did put his hand up to talk about this, as well as past talks. As QuarterDollar pointed out :- "This is the behavioral quality you would want to see in a CEO. Someone who is capable of ruminating on the large issues that can have an impact on your business. LB definitely is a higer caliber of CEO. " He has offered his insights ...more

The putting his hand up thought makes sense to me. Agreed in good marketing. Likely I just notice his comments more than other CEO's because I follow his comments and mentions of Almonty etc closely. Happy Mother's Day to any mother's out there or non-mother's who have a special one:)

"Question Everything" Back in mid 1980's I had to use buses to get to work while my car was being repaired. New clutch plates. Sitting at the bus exchange out the front of the local University, some one scraled on the shelter wall :- "Question Everything" The next day some one replied under that in different pen and script :- "Why ?" A true event that made me ...more

You are asking very good questions Blueskies.......... Why does LB speak out on topics where there are equally as good or better qualified people to speak on the various topics that LB talks about? Who is he to speak on these topics????? EXACTLY !!!!! Blueskies, you thought this far. Put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself why would you do what he is doing? My explanaition... First ...more
