Draw Down

I can see the reasons for this delay.

- Clock starts ticking for repayments once the draw down starts.
- This project has to be a seamless flow of operations to reach those goals.
- No point in drawing money unless the build out is confirmed as a non-stop project.

5ilverlining808, I your points and on most of your points most days I share your thoughts. On the importance of the drawdown my observation is I think it is a more pressing issue than you do. I see the drawdown ad being of primary importance, as in, st this point in the project and at this point for Almonty's share price, nothing else matters. The repayment period doesn't matter if the ...more

Blueskies, the drawdown is extremely important, but what is more important is managing the budget and costs.  This is what LB has stated.  As shareholders, we have to trust his leadership and decision making. I too would like to see this thing get going, but as long as LB keeps to Q2 2023 to be in production, I am ok with that.

Totally agree budget and costs are very important; however until the drawdown is complete our budget is $0 because we cannot fund the cost of construction without the drawdown. Manage the budget once we have the dollars.

The order of financial management is: budget identify and manage costs spend

Agree; but you need to budget, but I would say it is step two, as you can only budget with dollars you have available to spend and we do not yet have official evidence of dollars available to budget with.

Could the delay in drawdown have to do with downstream processingn plant?  Could there be some "tweaking" of the design required that is causing the delay?   Could the company be on the verge of announcing full financing including for the downstream plant? All your thoughts are always appreciated. . . whois

Whois...... all good questions. I don't think the downstream processing plant would cause a delay however a tweak of the design to the processing plant could. 5ilver is probably the most qualified to answer that.

Whois, I was actually thinking the same as you as far as a possible full financing. Could also make sense to the financing last week with funds raised for "accelerating ongoing growth", which can very well be the full financing. Can also make sense to lock something down now with interest rates going up so quickly.

whoisyourpapa, I am very hopeful the delay is related to announcing a full financing that includes a faster increase in production than initially planned and the downstream plant. I think it is possible and will gladly take back any and all complaints I have made about the drawdown not being complete if this is the case.

There are some important people that I always forget to mention :- Electrical Engineers. These people will have to do some massive tweeks to build the MCC (motor control centre) and link it to program the control room computors to start and stop the plant in the right order for normal operations, and to stop crash the plant when a problem occures. There will be a large power transformer built on ...more

blueskies, I totally agree. I did not get to finish that initial post, as I hit the space bar too quick  and the post was sent without the rest of my comments. Posable sticky keyboard on my PC from a previous beer spray lol. The next point that I was to make was that Lewis likes to triple check everything. My thoughs on that was he will make sure all contractors, builders, suppliers and so ...more
