I wonder if we will find out tomorrow what the very precise $4,840,524 (made the effort of stating $524, not even rounding to $525 lol) is going towrard.

In the video Lewis said $12.8 mil was to pay for EPC's various design works, and a good chunk going to Metso/Outotec. The only other player I can think of that needs a significant payment is the underground mine developers. That $4,840,524 drawdown might just be for them ??? From now on the money will be spent when and where it is needed and even though it would be nice to know all this ...more

most likely banking fees. LB stated that once the drawdown was initiated, then banking fees must be paid.

When you consider the low interest rate Almonty received on the loan, and that no one give money away for free, another way for the bank to recoup their money is the up front heavy loan fees.

We were minutes away from each other on this QuarterDollar and I do not know what the banking fees could be ? But yeah, maybe.

All the paper work, and due dilligence KfW did.  The length of time KfW spent on reviewing and investigating Almonty including traveling to each of the mining sites.

If we listen to LB's latest webnar, he stated the remainder of the drawdowns will be done quarterly and according to the payment schedule. The $4.8M payment is not part of the quarterly drawdown, but kicked in after the initial drawdown......... it is payment fees.

Money now in the bank ..    next on the agenda is how many tons came out of Panssquiera last quarter..  at ATP price north of 300  What would be cool is if they were sandbagging a bit during covid ..  now boom .. have a good profitable quarter.   .. after all supposed to be doing 90,000  tons/year  ..  which can buy at least a few beer.

Panasquiera is not that profitable. After all it is just a tier 3 mine.  Almonty owns it for the generational knowledge and experience the workers have.  Pan and Val will not produce enough profits to drive significant growth. Sangdong is the game changer, starting next summer.
