IIF Update

- Sangdong is approx 2 months behind due to late shipment of containers.
- Dundee has less that 2.5M share left and no Warrants.
- Sangdong commencement is still planned for end of this year.
- Metsos rebuilding one of the drives, and it has to be shipped to S.K.
- WE ARE ON BUDGET !
- LB stated that we have picked up a lot of new retail shareholders and it is difficult to field all of the questions with limited staff.
- LB: we had hundreds of shareholders and now we have thousands.  (I stated at least 6 months ago we had hundreds......nice to get confirmation).
- LB says he is looking for a PR person.
- We have 9 months stockpile supply to process.
- Sangdong breakeven point is 3 months into production.

How are we feeling about this shareholders? Had we hoped Dundee was clean out?  Breaking even three months into production!? I was t expecting that Quip!

The presentation was short but informative. . . a few things to add to QD's notes: He referred to Dundee's selling as a great opportunity for people to buy stock at a discount.  Said he expects price will go back to previous levels once Dundee is completely out Still 6 months ahead of schedule underground They are on budget (though I personally think there's an ...more

He also mentioned that financings are being done at the request of currenct shareholders who wish to increase their position not because they need the money. He's not interested in raising funds through the market for the downstream at current share price levels Updared presentation coming to website shortly

Not sure if that is fair to all shareholders if we add financing when it is not needed just because some shareholders want it? Also, if current shareholders want to increase positions, they should instead buy out Dundee's remaining 2.5 million at a discount price. Wouldn't that make a ton of sense?

Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 22, 2023 11:01am
The fact that two Australian Institutions increased their holding recently and LB wanting to increase the expiration date on insider Warrants is a strong indicator the share price is going to pop. I wonder if that will be the time Dundee will start dumping again.
Comment by whoisyourpapa on Feb 22, 2023 12:23pm
Hasn't Dundee been dumping all along?  Someone from RBC and Anonymous has been keeping downward pressure on the stock now for months.  I assumed that was Dumbdee but who knows. I really hope they are working on getting them bought out by another investor so we can be done with them once and for all. . . whois
Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 22, 2023 12:52pm
@Whois Someone already posted that Dundee owned 4+M shares. And at the IIF, LB answered someone question regarding Dundee and whether they owned Warrants and whether they were done selling.  LB responded saying Dundee wants to divest their position, they owned 0 warrants, and have 2.5M shares left. I don't know if Dundee has continued to dump, but I am kinda hoping I can pick up ...more

Well if Dundee keep selling at a trickle every day you might get that chance in 6 months.  Six months will be awfully close to commissioning though so I'm not too sure you would be able to pick up at anywhere near these levels. . .

I hear you.... what a dilema.
Comment by chizzles on Feb 15, 2023 11:55am
I guess if we fund through the market for downstream we wont be getting a loan from KFW?
Comment by GastownGuy on Feb 15, 2023 12:28pm
it will depend on what the current special shareholders decide to do. seems like they are the ones calling all the shots here
Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 15, 2023 11:39am
To comment further on the downstream expansion, LB is not willing to the market for financing at the current share price point.

Should have read your post Whois first before I posted....
Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 15, 2023 3:04pm
Valtreixal:  - Permitting should be completed this year.  - LB admits they haven't been pushing as their focus is on Sangdong.  - There is increase in appetite for European based tungsten supply.   Los Santos:  tailings is an on going conversation, but as LB stated previously, they focus is on Sangdong.   Panasquiera:  - LB admits it is an ...more

Thanks guys for your updates, they are perfect! I wonder what LB means when he says "he knows we want to see more pictures but we are going to have to wait and there is a good reason for that". Good reason almost tells me that there is something quite important/big that they don't want the public to know about yet which can be quite significant. Or am I reading this wrong? Also ...more
Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 15, 2023 4:12pm
LB mentioned they have thousands of pictures (...probably meant this figuratively) from various employees.  They are too busy to sort through and post them, hence the need for a PR person who will vet all public releases through LB. No idea what LB means "...there is a good reason for that"... but most likely referring to the hiring of a PR person. "Dundee divesting ...more

Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 17, 2023 1:36pm
Not to long ago at one of the IIF, LB answered a question stating that shareholders will be rich. Well I don't see it and wolfry is right. It has to be north of $7 to make any serious difference for most shareholders because $1M to $2M is not rich. It just gets you by in retirement (especially when you factor in health costs). For this stock to make any difference to shareholders, LB ...more

QD did they ingnore that question?  i don't remember it being addressed.  I know that they had other questions submitted to them but they ran out of time to answer them all.   RIP to the person who gets hired for the PR position as they will be bombarded with questions in the first little while LOL Hoping they'll have that position filled shortly whois
Comment by QuarterDollar on Feb 18, 2023 12:20am
Whois, I asked my question during the event and no it was not answered. The only reason LB ran out of time was he only presented for 30 minutes and not like the 45-50 minutes in the previous IIF events. I wonder if that was intentional to reduce the number of questions asked or did the IIF set the limit considering the number of companies presented at the event.

LB does NOT work for guys like you and me. No CEO or president  does .!!                         The role is to keep "the story" alive ..!!!! Here is a pearl.....tuck it under your pillow...... If there is easy money to be made, you and I will be the last to know .!!! ...more

LB also said that in the beginning there was only 100-150 shareholders.  All of you longtimers like me, we made up that group. With a few shareholders, it was easier for LB to respond to shareholders. Now there are thousands.
