Dundee

I have a couple of thoughts on why Dundee may have sold, best guess is it is a combination of the two:

1. Dundee never actually purchased shares in Almonty, they participated in some financings and were significant holders of shares and warrants of Woulfe Mining. It is possible someone at Dundee had a relationship with Woulfe Mining back in 2012 - 2014 but never worked to build a relationship with Almonty. The CEO at the time was Ned Goodman and the CFO was Lucie Presot.

I think it is fair to say that Woulfe and Almonty are very different companies, an investor in one may not be interested in the other one, even though Sangdong is the main project in both cases.

2. There has been significant changes at Dundee since 2012, including Ned Goodman passing away, a new CFO in 2021 and adding a new portfolio manager. Both portfolio managers are new since the original investment in Woulfe was made. I think it is fairly common from new management and portfolio managers to sell old positions to have capital to put their own stamp on things.

Anyway, I'm pleased Dundee has no more share to sell and I believe it was challenging on the Almonty share price that Dundee decided to sell; however, I do not think their selling has to mean anything negative is or was going on with Almonty.

One would assume that Lewis would have to tell them the plan right? With the ownership structure and nature of tungsten (at this time) I think the shareprice is all in control due to higher powers' world bullet needs through US Senators ...more

to add to corton68's comment: why on earth would they sell? this mine will give them the opportunity to be independant from china for the upcoming decades! to put it bluntly, its the wet dream of every critical metal processing company of the world, 100% independance from china (and other unreliable partners)!  we have most companies in the western world desperately trying to reduce ...more
