Lassonde Curve

Chizzles, I think the photo you are talking about is the Lassonde Curve, it is a fairly well known diagram in resource exploration. You can review more at:

Lassonde Curve

The general idea is that mining projects and the company share price typically follow a somewhat predictable path.

At the stage Almonty is in currently, the curve would suggest we are due for a significant increase in share price before production begins.

Thank you 1dollar. It isn't quite that one but similar.  The way I see it, when Almonty first took over Sangdong from Woulfe Mining, I believe the share price was $0.86 CDN. It is now at $0.59 with a low of $0.56 yesterday. I'm pretty sure where we are at, this is completely off. I think we were supposed to go in the other direction of $0.86, not $0.27 cheaper than it was 7 years ...more

Totally agree, I think it should be higher and I've bought shares at higher prices in past. I would be much happier if it were over $1, and happier still over $1.50.

As an aside, and in response to a social media update today, I am tired of seeing updates on mine safety without other updates. Mine safety is an expectation these days in places like South Korea and when your mine is financed by a tier 1 lender. I'm glad things are safe, good on Almonty for doing what is required.  I would much prefer a few pictures of the site construction. Concrete ...more

100% agree.  Another media update just popped up here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JCGwmPjl6M This interview is great and raises the profile of Tungsten and Almonty/Lewis but I'd much rather him spend the few hours getting prepped for this meeting on doing a construction update with a few pics instead. Dundee and a mystery Europe seller aside, I still don't really understand ...more

Thanks for the video TradingKiwi. Lewis made many historic deals as a junior miner with the bank and Plansee, Korean Govt., Local Govt. and now Telecom. Only 45% of Sangdongs production is slated for Plansee with a minimum floor price and 15 years guaranteed. When Lewis said the demand is three times more that Almonty can produce, the path is clear, as to me it seems to indicate more deals with ...more

My take away Re the mine safety is who Almonty developed it with. Korea Telecom is one of the biggest companies in Korea and its like a junior in the U.S. doing a partnership with Verizon - it never happens. If Korea Telecom is working with Almonty it means that the technology is at a global level and the Korean Government is completely behind Almonty here given they are Korea Telecom. It says to ...more
