Chuckle of the Day!

Check out the NR of April 26, 2021:
-concrete batch plant now completed........
-SITE LEVELLING , road and drainage diversion can now be completed with all permits in place.

It goes on to say.....originally intended...but upon cost analysis it was established that by including the site levelling the Company would save a further US $ 300,00.   Pat on the back for the good guys!
Do you wonder  (as some  of must) as to why there  is some frustration at the absolute lack of significant progress at this site.  We get NRs years later saying everything is going according to plan, and that is not true. We find out now there is bits and pieces ordered and will arrive soon--a few weeks--next month--.  Why wasn't this stuff ordered yeatrs ago when credit aplproved.
Does anyone know the seasons there, .?  We will hit the fall in a couple of months, and will the concrete base or pad be done then?  Will it be warm enough to carry on construction on the walls rood and interior this year.
I seem to have all kinds of questions arise for me,  that there are no writing or discussion on.What is really happening?   Is Black so obsessed with being on budget that he cant get people to get the work schedled ?  He spoke proudly of "on track budget "at least 10-15 times I remember over past two years.
If you want to continue the chuckle try the NR of Sep 14-2021.
There is also one buried somewhere where he got I think Five million options or dollars, for gettling the financing package.  That is fine but thats over with,  FIND A NEW MOUNTAIN TO SCALE WITH THIS PROJECT!!

"FIND A NEW MOUNTAIN TO SCALE WITH THIS PROJECT!!"  -- AMEN ........ I have basically been saying that for two years and not only for this project. The executive administration work required amounts to a day or two. The rest of the time are they golfing?

I seem to remember them saying several times that "all equipment is now on site" yet so many updates now mention new pieces arriving and more arriving soon. I am worried the focus on "being on budget" is showing Black is pennywise and pound foolish. Get this thing online already

@ rockminer and TwelveBagger, I feel your pain, as we all do. But I feel you need to know that the "concrete batch plant" is not for above ground foundations or slabs, it is for underground tunnels reinforcing that is a spray-on concrete slush over steel mesh to help prevent rock falls in the tunnels and this batch plant will be in operation through out the mines life as long as they are ...more

Thanks for the explanation Silver, it is enlightening.  That leaves the question.... "Why Cant They Get It Assembled", in an orderly fashion of course.
