Popular Korean YouTuber visits Sangdong .. subtitled video

Almonty Industries Inc had the pleasure of hosting the very popular Korean YouTuber @sisakim21, at our AKTC #SangdongMine headquarters last week.

Check out the latest video he has released showcasing his visit to our facilities and some behind-the-scenes action!

It was a little painful to watch, but there was a few key frames of when they visited on site.  Interested in any trained eyes out there to the development progress or anything that could provide more information.  I couldn't see any slabs, or construction in the background, the video just could be not in the right direction to capture this?

Painful ???  It was a massive headache to watch, lol. - No info on process plant build. -  At the 5.39 mark 900 metres into the mine so far for a possible 2000 metres. - Nothing new or to be excited about yet. - At the 10.55 mark a spokesperson says (at length) further on that there is a revised adjustment off-take deal with the US (Plansee/GTP ???), of 12 years. I thought it was 15 ...more

It makes zero sense to me that they would have a youtuber go on site to document the goings on at the site and not show the progress at the process plant build. To me this can only mean one thing: there is nothing to show Sorry if I come off as a glass half empty guy but that's how I see it.  I hope to be wrong. . .  whois

I agree with you whois. It is bizarre to say the least, and obviously lack of photos had to be a condition of the u-tuber allowed to be on site.  I also found it ominous to see boot high weeds in a number of sites that might suggest there is not a huge presence on site. The utube program also mentioned there would be around 250 jobs created in the next two years? Doesnt seem li9ke they are ...more

Yes, the opening in 2 years statement is what caught my ear as well. There is some sort of substantial delay they are not talking about.

more and more questions and still no answers. what happened in korea and why aren't they saying anything about it???

According to the latest IP, the contract for GTP expires in 2039. Plus Sangdong doesn't start production until 2026, hence 12 year contract remaining with GTP. • 2,600t WO3 p.a. from Sangdong plus acquisition from external Source until 2039 • From 2039 (after 2,100t WO3 GTP contract ended): 4,750t WO3 p.a. from Sangdong

2026!? Remember when I said that publicly shaming the company wouldn't work to our benefit? JFC this is awful
Comment by corton68 on Sep 27, 2023 8:58pm
Where does it say 2026?? I can't see that? Also the offtake is 15 year and for sure wouldn't start before shipments began...

- At the 10.55 mark a spokesperson says later on at the 11.58 mark things about 12 year off-take 3 times. Not sure now if he made a mistake or not ? 15 years "was" the deal with Plansee. As for 2026 start ? I will not watch this vidio again to dig that out. Good luck if can. But at this rate of things involving progress, that just might be the case.

2026 start is in May's Investor's Presentation page 15. Plant construction is to be completed Q2 2024, then followed by 6 months of "Completion & Commissioning".  Then the 12 month Ramp Up Phase begins Q1 2025. So Production is Q1 2026. LB also stated that he has added a buffer to the delivery times of the schedule.  I think at best, Production will ...more

@Corton May's Investor Presentation Page 19......bottom right "From 2039 (after 2,100t WO3 GTP contract ended)".  Production in 2026, then Offtake is only 12 years. Offtakes must have an end date. If Almonty started production in 20 years time, do you think any offtake agreement would commence at that time? LB releases bad news by burying in an obfuscated ...more

And the troll emerges from his cave.....
Comment by corton68 on Sep 28, 2023 12:16pm
Yeah yeah yeah we all hate LB. In the meantime check the YouTuber video as seems the company has responded to the 12 year scandal that's been perpetrated on this blog. Seems our in house trolls may have "misunderstood " statements.
