velocity bucket shop

Looks like someone really trying to do a number on us using Velocity as the clearing house. second day in a row offering the biggest offerings I’ve ever seen on AII (100k shares) and today hes come down a penny to 63c after we got through his 100k yesterday at 64c. Showed real strength in our stock to see him off yesterday but to come back today 2c less than the close for the open just looks malicious. Another battle we must win......whoever this miserable wretch is (I think I can guess) has to grow up and stop being a big baby

agree its not ideal, but we all know that most retail are longterm holders, same as all the insiders. and thats a large portion of the outstanding shares. in addition we appear to have the luxury of "educated" retail investors who know how to deal with these types of games: yawn.... management just needs to make sure that they keep the key milestones for the mine on track and progress ...more

The good news is that whoever the seller is they will eventually run out of shares to sell.  Hoping this aligns with the time around commissioning. Ovisously this person/group is not an insider or even a major shareholder but they sure do have a lot of shares to get rid of. . . whois

You'd figure they should be finished selling soon? Since mid January (when volume seemed to pick up), there has been approx 4.5 million shares traded. And that is calculated based on Stockwatch which I don't think includes Germany and the ASX, which has also really pick up in trading so I think they are selling there also. They are not insiders, and I think they need to own less than a ...more

If its who I think it is then the expression "If i cant play with the ball then no one can" springs to mind.

@corton I know you're thinking its Dundee but I doubt it.  By all accounts they were done selling almost a year ago. Not that it really matters, lets just get the mine built and running and everything else will straighten itself out. . .  whois

The issue is when they post such a large offering for the open the programs jump in front of that offering - the seller knows this so this strategy of theirs is designed to do maximum damage.

They've very successfully stopped the price growth for now. Perhaps this is a tactic to force Lewis to finally put out a NR. Anyways, if they keep pushing it down, I will gladly buy more.

I'm wondering if it is a tactic by Lewis to not post a NR until all of this selling is complete to not waste a good NR into a wall of selling. Maybe that is why they are so silent? Once this is done, 3-5 straight positive NR's pushing us into the next chapter!
