.60 was a good buying point 3 years ago. the fact that it is still possible now is more worrisome than it is an opportunity

The market is going to correct in a big way within the next six months.  Don't be surprised when it goes down further.

No offense, but this is not due to a market correction, it is due to a lack of news from this company.

I'm pretty confident that if all is on track for Almonty and things start (i.e. actually finally start production at Sangdong) happening in by the end of the year then the price will move up regardless of what the market does. This is different then a few years ago as we had a timeline but it wasn't as definite then. We are (or should be) right around the corner of bigger things and with ...more

@Cubes..... I wasn't referring to the current pullback. All I was saying is expect another one. @4Profit.... I agree that it will go up around the time of the next IIF, but not as much as it should.  The next major market pullback is coming and Almonty will feel the effect as all boats drop when the tide goes out.  But I don't expect many Almonty shareholders will sell ...more

The next major market pullback is coming I'm just trying to understand why this prediciton? How a few weeks seems to have changed everything, without any reason. We were all so optimistic just weeks ago. I feel like that major pullback already happened, dropping from $0.74 (our new 52 week high) on May 21st to the current price. What does another major pullback look like? As LB said ...more

When investing, you just can't look at the one stock.  Granted Almonty is a rare fined, but you have to also look at the whole market and the global economy.  The market since 2009 has been majory driven by debt.  The consumer is all tapped out and the sudden increase in interest rates since last year still have to take effect on all the billions of dollars of mortages (both ...more

Personally, I think share price will go it's own ways despite what happens to the market..  However, for that to happen we need to see the next 2 drawdowns, officially and update from the company of when they are commissioning the plant..  Any case, matter of few months..  As long as the plant build up has not run into any problem.. One reason I am not too happy that they have ...more

Agreed. The stock is undervalued as it is. The macroeconomy has less to do with the price than the lack of news and updates  Let's hope there is method to madness.  GLTA

Its summer everyone go outside and enjoy the sunshine.  If something happens before this September consider it a bonus. We could get the drawdown news, European gov't  offtake news and maybe even an update on the mine construction during the summer but if not, you'll find me outside enjoying the summer. That's how I see it anyway because what choice do we have anyway ...more

we only have 3 choices here. buy, sell, or hold. everything else is unnecessary complication. I have only ever bought and held almonty. should we have sold when it ran to 1.30? maybe. frankly I am more than a little concerned with the lack of fanfare as we get close to the end of the mine construction and commisioning..... paticullarly from within korea. I mean where's the press? where are the ...more

Comment by whoisyourpapa on Jun 20, 2024 8:57am
Lewis said he was told by the South Korean governament to "operate like a submarine" during construction of the mine.  This would explain the lack of fanfare, but he also said multiple times that "it will all make sense soon, everything will be revealed". I don't think we currently meet the parameters for a Korean listing, especially regarding the current share price. ...more
