On another great Deep Value stock pick ... Cineplex looking a little less positive with Cineworld going bankrupt.

It's been years and there have been plenty of opportunites for them to return value to their shareholders. They haven't and they won't. It's simply not in their DNA. Everyone running this is a turd or a tard or equal parts of both. I know that there is absolutely no chance that that anyone on the board reads this, but on the off chance, a hearfelt F U!

Apparently Cineplex is 8.2% of the Mittleman fund. On top of its debt, an Ontario court ordered Cineworld to pay $1.24-billion to Cineplex last December for breaching its $2.18-billion agreement in 2019 to acquire the Canadian company. Cineworld subsequently appealed the decision. In the past, Mr. Greidinger played hardball with rivals over industry issues such as film distribution ...more
