Bloated Kognitive Executive of 24 !!!!!!

Thats right.
13 members of the management team and 9 more on the BOD for a total of 24 paid executives.

This for a business that has never been profitable, has zero growth for the last 3 years and losing over $60 m per year.

Even worse, some of these are also on the AIM management BOD so they are getting compensatiuon and in one or tow cases triple.

Kognitive is beyond broke burining through over $32 m in cash in Q1 and probably similar in Q2.

Clear Media is also losing a ton and we  should take a loss given these volatile markets and especially so those in China.

We are trading below net net.   That's why I am here.    I see they are doing buybacks currently that is accreative.   I think of this thing like Business Development Company.     Seriously.    Africa Oil is a good place to invest the cash.    Go to  5% plus and call the special meeting to replace that BOD.     ...more

But then AOI would land in the same sinkhole as everything else these guys touch.  And I'm already way overallocated in O&G ;) That's why the market is not recognizing the cash on hand ... they know these guys are morons, make bad investment decisions, and don't know how to manage a business they have.  Buyback is great value at less than cash on hand, but it would ...more

I've tried my best to be respectful, patient, and attentive with fellow investors like yourself in these conversations,  But you've been misquoting and misrepresenting my words often as a group. Taking a shot at me today based on those perversions of reality is where I must draw the line: 1. I said Mittelmans performance COMING OUT OF BEAR MARKETS is the source of nearly all of his ...more

Ok so let's look at MIM performance in Precog.. Its AUM was $245 m in Q1 of 2021, declining monotonically to $132 m in Q2 of 2022. Thats a massive decline in just 4 quarters. So, you think that he can not only reverse this decline but recover all losses and then some ? https://www.aimia.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Aimia_Q2-2022-Highlights-Presentation-v12_FINAL.pdf
