First Quarter Results

According to Darcy Reynolds, AKITA Drilling's V. P. of Finance, they will be releasing their first quarter results on Monday May 06, 2024 after the market close. Good luck to all AKT.A shareholders.

I would note that the estimate for earnings for this upcoming first quarter are currently at $0.05 per share. With an estimate of $0.12 for the entire 2024 year. Plus, the current estimate for earnings in 2025 and 2026 are $0.23 and $0.29 respectively (everything entirely dependent on the price for and demand of oil/drilling). This should be enough to meet their aggressive debt repayment plans ...more

If that's the best Akita can achieve this stock will be stuck in the current $1.5 range for the foreseeable future. The bod needs to come up with a plan to enhance shareholder value. A merger with a larger oil serrvice company would be my preferred route.  And until that can be achieved to reinstate even a small dividend to give shareholders a reason to hold the stock. $0.01 a quarter ...more
