RE Propane Exports at RIPET
From what I have been able to ascertain, AltaGas has two licenses to ship 40,000 barrels per day from RIPET, for a total of 80,000 per day. I am not sure where the bottleneck is to achieve a higher volume. It could be the gathering system, the trains, the port, or the market.
One thing I wonder about is the loading facility at the port. The berth adjacent to the propane storage tanks appears to be used to load both coal and propane. I doubt that it would possible to load both products at the same time. With just one berth, loading faster or more often seems to be the route to higher volume.
Can anyone provide further illumination on this?

Bottleneck, expansion is required at the wharf and rail system to Prince Rupert; especially if the Ridley Island Exports Logistics Park and Vopak Pacific Terminal projects go ahead.
