Alcoa closes Intalco Smelter Prepares Site for Redevelopment
Why isn't this news on Altagas site. It had a big impact on trading today
Pursuant to an agreement with AltaGas (TSX: ALA), AltaGas has acquired the rights to develop and own approximately 1,600 acres at the Intalco site, which includes transportation and utility infrastructure.

Another long term project. A good base for expansion. money to spend now recoup in 4-5 years

I think you are reading waaaaay to much into the "ALCOA" press release. Altagas may have the rights to purchase 1,600 acres but they have never mentioned a project of any kind.
