Acquisition prospects?

Given the high oil prices, seems acquisitions to acquire production would be few and far between ... especially when Keith says only would be prudent if the deal was assuming $50 oil yo protect from any future downtown 
 

Do we really need to add another producing asset?  Seems Kenya govt is moving forward with oil project with or without another partner 

And we have other assets making noise in South Africa and potential for Venus

so I'm okay with buy backs, dividends, and paying our share for Kenya as that could give us similar production to Nigerian assets and over a longer term

In addition to AOI, I also hold TVE who have recently undertaken to return 50% of FCF to shareholders in the form of regular div, buybacks and special dividend.  I think Prime dividends to AOI could be in the region of 400m usd in 2022  ..that is about $1 cad per share.  AOI is a holding company and with net debt of zero and minimal operating expenses so they could easily do 50 ...more

I should add that I am expecting close to $200m usd in dividends from Prime before year end.  Might be wrong there but I did buy some more shares in expectation of a pop in the share price
